1. Overview

Rental Trust provides a digital service that allows landlords and agents to unlock access to tenant profile information.

By purchasing an unlock or subscription, users gain immediate access to digital content. As such, this policy sets out when refunds may or may not be available.

2. Pay-Per-Unlock Purchases (£2.99)

Unlock purchases are considered fulfilled once access to the tenant's contact details is granted.

Refunds will NOT be provided where:

  • ×The user has successfully accessed the tenant's contact details
  • ×The user decides not to proceed with the tenant
  • ×The tenant does not respond
  • ×The tenancy does not progress

3. Exceptions (Refunds May Be Considered)

Refunds may be issued at the discretion of Rental Trust where:

  • The profile was materially inaccurate or misleading
  • The same profile was unlocked more than once due to a system error
  • A technical fault prevented access after payment

All refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of purchase.

4. Subscription Plans

Monthly subscriptions provide access to a set number of profile unlocks.

  • Unused unlocks do not roll over
  • Subscriptions are non-refundable once the billing period has started

Users may cancel at any time, but cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

By purchasing a digital unlock, you agree to immediate access to digital content. This means you waive the standard 14-day cooling-off period once the service has been used.

6. Misuse and Abuse

Rental Trust reserves the right to refuse refunds where:

  • There is evidence of misuse of the platform
  • Repeated refund requests are made without valid reason

7. How to Request a Refund

8. Final Decision

All refund decisions are made at the discretion of Rental Trust, in line with this policy and applicable law.

9. Policy Updates

Rental Trust reserves the right to update this policy at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the latest version.
